My adult daughter Elodie was born with epilepsy. I´ve searched all of her life to find a treatment that would control her seizures through surgeries, medication, even experimental studies.

I learned there are some needs I cannot provide for her, and that I must take care of myself as well. I´ve forged partnerships with doctors, schools, family and friends in order to give Elodie a better quality of life.

There continue to be unmet needs for people with epilepsy and I continue to work to educate and advocate for them. As an Epilepsy Ambassador I share my experience and encourage understanding about living well with epilepsy.
