I think first of all obtaining information is the key thing. Finding out what it is, why it's happening to you, what treatments are available, that can be the first step to calm you down and help you accept the condition. I think secondly realising the importance of self-management, that there are things that you can do to control the condition.
You do have responsibilities to watch your triggers, to talk with your doctor, to take the treatment you've agreed with but thirdly to have hope that there is the potential to stop the seizures or at least to lessen them.
What advice would you give to someone not satisfied with their situation?
