Dear Friends,
We have been overwhelmed and moved by the questions you have sent through to the Live Beyond Epilepsy Team. Over the next few weeks, answers to many of your questions will be posted, however because of the number of questions still to answer we will need to temporarily close this facility. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Just a few words of support to you all: Epilepsy is one of the most common neurological conditions affecting up to 50 million people around the world. A diagnosis of epilepsy may come as a shock but with the help of your epilepsy doctor, nurse, family and friends, it is possible to continue to live well with epilepsy. Do not give up and take some inspiration from the people with epilepsy who share their experiences with you on this site:
http://www.livebeyondepilepsy.com/personal.htm. If you also have access to a local self-help group in your country, they too may be able to help answer specific questions you may have about your epilepsy.
Good Luck and the very best of Success.
Kind regards
The Live Beyond Epilepsy Team
