I view each day as a gift.

Most people never dream of having brain surgery - I´ve had three. My first was after a soccer accident. Seizures followed and I spent nine years in an epilepsy clinic trying to gain control over my epilepsy.
After another brain surgery, my seizures continued. When my wife and I adopted our first son, I ached to carry him safely. I underwent a two-part brain surgery that was successful. In combination with my medication, I got control over my seizures. Life has improved and I am glad to spend it with my wife and sons.
As an Epilepsy Ambassador I share my experience and encourage understanding about living well with epilepsy.
What advice would you give somebody not satisfied with their current situation?
