Introducing Youth on the Move

Youth on the move is an initiative for youths with epilepsy to empower them to live well with epilepsy and to combat the misunderstanding and prejudices about epilepsy. This project was successfully started in the Netherlands by Karijn (pronounced "Karyn") and is now being set up in Kenya.

Karijn has gone to Kenya to help train six trainers to support other youths living with epilepsy. You can follow the progress over the next few months as Karijn and the youth coordinators work to establishing Youth on the Move in Kenya. This first edition introduces Karijn and the youth coordinators as they share their experiences of living with epilepsy and their hopes for the project.
