Learning that someone you care for has epilepsy can be upsetting and feel daunting. It can be difficult for you to feel confident leaving your child with a carer other than yourself.
You may feel that there's so much to remember to tell people about a child's epilepsy and it can be worrying to think you may have forgotten something.
The teacher information and babysitter information resources provide you with a form that you can give to any of your child's carers which explains about their seizures and what they should do if your child has a seizure while in their care.
These simple forms will act as a prompt, allowing you to list the most relevant information that a carer will require, ensuring you don't forget anything important.
Action Zone is a fun game for children and their friends and family to play. It will help them to learn about epilepsy, how this can affect some children and what can be done to help. For more information and to obtain a copy of the game, please visit the Action Zone boardgame page.
